The Rundown: Vision discovers what Kang and Myrddin are after

Vision finishes analyzing Kang’s information and gathers the Avengers to tell them that they need to find Reed Richards. At the same time, Myrddin gathers his forces to prepare them for the next part of his plan. They tell Reed that Kang and Myrddin are in search of a missing moment of time that no time travel could reach and they need his help. Help that will require Reed to confront his hand in the creation of the grail Myrddin and his knights seek.

Myrddin gathers his knights to go on one last mission. One that will lead them to betrayal against an old foe as the wizard prepares himself for a new journey that will bring him the prize that he seeks.

The Story: MacKay crafts an entertaining story in this issue. I like the evolution of the story and how it evolves the Kang narrative. I loved the parallels with the Avengers and Myrddin’s forces and how it comes to an unexpected, surprising and satisfying conclusion. I like the lore being created in this issue and how it connects to Secret Wars. It’s going to be interesting to see where this story goes next.

The Art: Karami creates some interesting art throughout the issue. There are some great visual moments, but some of the physical movements of the characters looked odd.
